- About Us Tribal Environment, We have been doing research work in the field of integrity of tribal society and environmental ecology for the last 14 years. Ever since we were doing our Ph.D research work in the context of tribal communities, we have been influenced by the tribal society, their lifestyle and their progressive ideology in terms of environment and ecology. When our Ph.D research work was completed, this research work was continued in collaboration with like-minded friends who were doing research on tribal communities. In the last 14 years of research work, we have studied the tribal community and their traditions in the context of the environment. We are here to present the knowledge that we have acquired before the world community through digital medium.
- At present, the world human civilization is facing many challenges like various natural disasters arising out of global warming, degradation of environment and ecology. To face these various challenges and to solve these challenges, various efforts are being made by all the governments across the world along with many government and non-government organizations and communities.
- We want to highlight the world and environmental vision of the tribal community on the world stage. We want to focus on these relevant problems and challenges and bring forth the approach adopted in solving those challenges to make it more sustainable.
Our Vision:
- Our aim and goal are to put the tribal point of view in the context of environment and ecology on the world stage because the perspective of the tribal society in the context of environment and ecology is completely different from the mainstream perspective. The tribal community does not consider nature and environment merely as a storehouse of resources, rather they consider nature and environment as their life companions.
- Tribal communities have been protecting the environment and natural resources since ancient times, but today they are being removed from natural resources. In this process their natural and human rights are being violated. Our main objective is to put various such issues on the world stage.
- One of our many objectives is to present the eco-friendly culture, art, life values, lifestyle of the tribal communities to the world community.
- To establish a human civilization in which the natural rights of the tribal society as well as the wild animals can be respected. This is our main goal.
Our Work:
- It is our working style from time to time to visit more than 550 tribal communities living in India to understand their culture, way of life and to get information about various tribal communities of the world.
- To carry out research work through the information received and various studies and to present the research work based on the progressive and relevant ideology of tribal communities to the world community through digital medium.
- Several work has been accomplished by us like: supporting the global voice rising against the violation of human rights of tribal communities and bringing forth the real standard of living of tribal communities on the world stage.
What makes tribal environment unique:
- Presenting authentic and quality research work to the world community is what makes us unique.
- We first do an in-depth study of any topic or problem and challenges, then find out the various reasons through the historical sociological method of the issues. Let’s try to understand those reasons and then imagine the possible consequences.
Our Belief:
Our beliefs are that’s
- The tribal community has lagged behind in the field of modern development and technology but this does not mean that it is not progressive.
- Even though the tribal society has lagged behind in material development, their viewpoint regarding environment and ecology is relevant for us today.
- Tribal communities possess a wealth of ancient knowledge. Tribal human technology, understanding of wild animals, the art of living a peaceful, stress-free life in a natural habitat etc. are vividly present within the tribal communities.
- Today the mainstream needs this knowledges.
